AMT Group (AMT) has developed several models of OUT-BOUND TelePC And IN-BOUND VOICE, FAX AND EMAIL  MESSAGING Systems. The systems will allow the end-user to handle a wide range of situations including automated outgoing messaging, incoming phone answering technology features. The turnkey systems have been configured for high reliability, user-friendliness, ease of use and a full range of reporting options.

In the area of high reliability, the system incorporates a UPS system to cover the eventuality of a power failure.

AMT foresaw that most office situations would require that the lowest denominator of personnel be able to operate the system. With this objective in mind special emphasis was placed on the software to make it as user-friendly as possible. User-friendliness and training as well as ongoing technical support are the secret to AMT's customer satisfaction.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The TelePC provides the ability to store voice messages on the computer's data disk, create and maintain unlimited lists of phone numbers, automatically deliver the messages by phone calls to the numbers on the lists during prearranged times, record responses, report on the progress of calls, and play back the responses.

A simple single line phone (like the one from your house) is all you need to start out with, it must have a modular plug and be a standard phone of a kind that could work on any residential phone line. The phone line must have a modular jack. Modular jacks and phone sets on electronic key system can be used only with adapters. When the TelePC software program is not actually using the phone or the line, the phone may be used normally for making or receiving calls. But, if you wish to operate the TelePC to it's fullest extent to automatically generating out-bound leads or for in-bound call automation it is best to have 1 or 2 dedicated phone lines. The cost is minimal to maintain 2 lines.

OVERVIEW:

This will provide valuable information on the characteristics of the AMT "TelePC systems". The TelePC is provided in several configurations that start at a "Basic" two-phone line unit. The remaining unit are industrial grade units featuring larger hardware capacities, increased telephone lines and voltage features. Other features can be included under a customized unit quotation.

Hardware Specifications:

The hardware that comprises the TelePC ™ is specific to the telephony application in some aspect. Hardware has been specifically chosen to provide the degree of upgrade ability and flexibility that the software demands for a telephone application Other components are provided as a safety factor for industrial grade Systems that require larger storage and fault-tolerant redundancy. All components are rigorously stress tested for an extended period to assure reliability.

Software Specifications:

The remaining text of this document will outline the specifics of the TelePC software, the functions and operation. This will allow you to have a very concise and descriptive idea of the capabilities of the TelePC system. The telephone software is comprised of a number of modules that facilitates the various functions of the application. The system is comprised of six modules that work together to provide the various inbound/outbound functions. certain modules are only applicable for a particular application, such as, outbound or fax-on-demand. Through the combination of the modules, the user gets unprecedented flexibility in designing a system that is unique to his environment and needs.

The telephony system is structured around a box structure and the number of boxes is only limited by the total hard disk space. Through the various setup and installation screens the sound and voice information is stored on the hard disk. hi this manner you can have an unlimited number of boxes depending on the amount of hard disk space. Outbound information are comprised of outgoing messages, Customer messages that are left in response to the outbound message and the customer telephone database. Incoming messages are captured in the box structure; fax-on-demand documents, bulletin board messages and a number of other information types are captured

You do not need any special equipment, voice cards or other equipment as your telephone is the instrument that allows you to record outbound messages, leave messages or query the system about messages that are left in the mailboxes for a particular person. The box Structure also allows you to ask customers questions and solicit a verbal response. In this manner a company or political organization could perform a survey and be as simple or complex in the Structure as needed.

Out-calling events are one of the easiest functions to perform and are facilitated by importing a database of phone numbers. The phone numbers can be directly input from the keyboard from whatever resources are available. Also, a number of resources can be utilized to capture phone numbers, CD phone number lists that can be purchased commercially, companies that provide screened phone numbers by demographics. You may also instruct the telephony application to start at a certain number and call a range of phone numbers.

Of course, there are complete facilities to start and/or stop the telephony application at a certain time or date. Full functionality is provided to determine the number of times a call will be attempted before the call for that number is discontinued If it is desired, a separate messages can be left for an answering machine.

Caller ID Display
 

 With AMTel™ Pro Caller Identification Display (CID) presented directly on your computer screen, you will be prepared to answer your call in the way you choose or even reject it.

  Incoming telephone calls are logged in the AMTel™ Pro system log along with the incoming telephone number.  Recorded calls are also tagged with the telephone number.

  The CID number is displayed on-screen in front of an attendant when someone calls, this will allow an attendant to begin pulling up contact information even before the call is answered, saving time and helping them to present themselves or their business in a very professional manor.

  This is a great feature for sales and technical support staff.  The display helps lookup incoming calls by scanning the incoming CID against the customer database with a simple mouse click. 

  That's right!  When an incoming call rings in, the Caller ID is displayed on the telephone panel of AMTel™ Pro.  Then an attendant can simply click a button before answering the call and have AMTel™ Pro automatically pull up that contact's information. 

  If the incoming CID is not found in the database for a given incoming number, the attendant will know one of two things, it is either a new customer or it is an existing customer calling in from a different line.

  If this is an existing customer calling in from a different line, the attendant can then ask if the customer has changed their phone number or is calling in from a different location and would they like their new number to be added to their customer profile.

  If this is a new customer, the attendant can then be easily prepared to enter the new customer data as a new record in the database with a single click that begins the entry process.

  All incoming calls and CID's that are logged on each individual unit, can be viewed by the manager's program for the AMTel™ Pro Server.


Play Recorded Messages Real-Time

AMTel Technologies AMTel™ and AMTel™ Pro Suites allow an attendant to playback pre-recorded messages to the party they are calling in real-time with a simple mouse click.

  This is a fantastic way to leave specific and detailed messages on an answering machine  or to playback specific and detailed product descriptions for your customer or prospect.

  Voice playback can be initiated at any time during your telephone call.  AMTel™ Pro's telephone panel has several buttons that you can pre-define with your own audio files or you can load and play any audio file that you already have pre-recorded by AMTel™ Pro on your computer.

  AMTel™ Pro's Call Scripting feature also allows voice playback message link to be embedded within the call script itself. (see Call Scripting)

  Voice playback can also be initiated while not in a call to playback and review pre-recorded telephone calls or audio notes at any moment.

  AMTel Technologies AMTel™ and AMTel™ Pro Suites utilize the OGG/Vorbis compression algorithm which is a highly compressed and great sound quality audio format.  We have chosen the OGG format because of its small footprint and ability to do real-time compression of telephone calls on even older computer systems with slower processors and less memory.

  The OGG/Vorbis format has quickly become a widely used format throughout the world, therefore any of your recorded messages or telephone calls can be played back in various media players and edited with many audio editors.

  All audio notes, recorded telephone calls and voice messages are stored within the master database for your company or organization.  Therefore, they are available for retrieval from any location, including home and satellite offices.

  The AMTel™ Pro manager's seat program allows a manager to review complete or individual logs for all seats.  Complete statistical reports are available onscreen for the total amount of calls made, successful sales, hang-ups, leads and more.

 

Do Not Call List Management
 

 The National Do Not Call Registry is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Nation's consumer protection agency.

  The Federal government created the national registry to make it easier and more efficient for consumers to stop getting telemarketing calls they don't want.

  Now laws are created and made mandatory for businesses to follow regarding the National Do Not Call List.  This has been a great opportunity for consumers to help prevent unwanted telemarketing calls coming into their homes at inopportune times, as well as prevent deceptive telemarketers from scamming consumers.

  These new laws regarding the 'National Do Not Call List' have placed a burden on businesses and call centers worldwide, to configure their automated systems to comply with the do not call list registry.  Many existing Predictive Dialer systems are completely unable to 'comprehend' what telephone numbers should or should not be dialed.

  We at AMTel Technologies are however against deceptive or abusive telemarketing practices.

  The burden now rests on the businesses relying on the telephone to make their sales, to pay extra charges to both be able to download the 'do not call list' on a monthly basis, as well as hire another business to 'scrub' their existing prospect list or to instill expensive 'plug-ins' or external software programs that will enable them to do it automatically.

Many of these subscription services and software programs can be very expensive and require a monthly fee themselves to be utilized by a business.

  Aside from the 'National Do Not Call List', there are other laws instilled which restrict the time of day that a sales call can be made to consumers.

Do Not Call List Management With AMTel™ Pro

  AMTel Technologies realizes the problems involved with the burden of the DNC List on businesses today, as well as the myriad of problems involved with a business trying to utilize obsolete systems.

    We have integrated a do not call list management solution within our AMTel™ and AMTel™ Pro Suites.  This is a standard feature in our software and does not require any monthly fees to allow you to operate.

  Your business will still need to be registered to download the do not call list, but you will not be required to pay additional fees to manage your current list of customers or prospects with the use of AMTel™ Pro.

  Your do not call list is imported into a separate MySQL or PostgreSQL database on your server and all numbers dialed are first scanned against this do not call database for compliance before a call is allowed to go through.

   As well as helping you to keep within the laws of following the 'National Do Not Call List', we have also provided a system of restricting outbound calls to specific times of day.  This will help your business or organization to keep within all laws governing outbound sales calls.

What is VOIP?

  VOIP allows you to make telephone calls using a computer network or over a data network like the Internet. VOIP converts the voice signal from your telephone into a digital signal that travels over the internet then converts it back at the other end so you can speak to anyone with a regular phone number. When placing a VOIP call using a phone with an adapter, you'll hear a dial tone and dial just as you always have.

  There are also new personal business exchange (PBX) telephone systems on the market that utilize VOIP technology, within the inner office structure, from desktop telephone to the telephone server, where it is then transferred to either a VOIP service provider or converted to regular analog telephone signals to be used over normal telephone lines.
